If anyone out there has a copy of "Peppermint Park", PLEASE convert it to DVD and post the episodes on YouTube. However, the theme song at the beginning is quite catchy. It literally sounds like they could have come up with the lyrics at the last minute. Yikes! The music is horrible, with uncreative lyrics, with the Rhino Song being one of the worst. The park had several rides to choose from and many kids. The park was located close to Gulfgate Mall on 45 and 610. The puppets look like they are thrown together with anything the creators of the show could find (they look like burn victims), plus some people believe that they all wear gloves so they won't leave DNA evidence on your corpse. Peppermint Park was a popular amusement park in Houston in the 1960's and 70's. It is notorious for being creepy and a total rip-off of Sesame Street.
